Great to hear than one of the youngsters who play in our league, Nathan Musslewhite, won the Yorkshire Under 25 coach of the year category.

He attended the presentation evening which was held at Headingley on Thursday 25th August, Nathan attended the days play of the Yorkshire County Match earlier in the day prioir to the presentation.

At the presentation was the Runner Up and the Winner, neither knew who had won until it was announced. Nathan won the award for 2011.

This is the 3rd year that Frecheville has had their nominations in the last 2, previously it was a joint effort in 2009 with Dean Smith & Daniel Kempton who came runners up and last year Laura Payling won the category same as Nathan has this year.

The winner in this category are put forward for the Sky Sports Young Coach of the Year for the following year 2012, this means that Nathan may be put forward as the North East nomination, this will depend on the nomination from Durham.

Laura has been nominated as the North East and the winner will be picked from Laura along with the other nominations from the other counties. Laura will be attending a coaching day with top coaches from England, the winner will be announced at the Coaches Conference in January 2012.
