MATTERS ARISING.
The restriction on the number of overs a bowler can ball in a reduced, or increased overs game has been passed on to the rules revision chairman. It is recommended the figure be 30% of the total.
TB will talk to GBB who has contacts with a supplier of league equipment re sports shirts. It was agreed we must move with the times and be more flexible in dress code next season. Ties ought not to be compulsory.

REPORT FROM LEAGUE MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Wickersley OVCC had won the area 20/20 last Sunday.
He informed the committee of the information he would be giving to members at next week’s general meeting.

APPOINTMENT SECRETARY’S REPORT
SP said we have lost 5 umpires through various reasons since the season started. He asked TB to email umpires and ask them to contact him if they had not been allocated a game on July 9th.

CORRESPONDENCE AND SECRETARY/TREASURER’S REPORT
TB expressed dissatisfaction that 3 umpires turned up for his game last Saturday. This was due to a break down in communication with SP and David Ward who was doing last minute changes while SP was on his “jollies”.
TB explained fully the ACO guide lines for our umpires to officiate in the Premier section. Level 1 will be acceptable for the time being or the old ACU&S Part 1.
It is expected in the fullness of time level 1A will be a must to officiate in our Premier division. Next season no qualification will mean no Premier games
Concerns were expressed about new umpire Anjum Iqbal. It was suggested SP tried to pair him up a few games with Jawed Akhtar.
SP was having trouble trying to contact P Gill by mobile. TB would email and find out the reason.
On the financial side he expected us to have a small surplus at the end of our financial year.

CRB REGISTRARS REPORT
JB had nothing to report

AOB

The chairman confirmed he would be standing down from office at the November AGM. We have had one nominee (Peter Ratcliffe) for the position. He will be invited to our next committee meeting.
The AGM will be held on November 8th. Our present HQ will close down on October 30th so a new venue will have to be found. JB will discuss this with Rotherham Phoenix

There was no other business so the chairman closed the meeting at 8-10pm.
